ok heres the deal l wanna buy a car and my mom wont let me because she has two houses and a good amount of money in the bank.

and she doesnt want me to get in a n accident and somebody sue her for all she has and more. and the reason she is so scared is because my sister recently hit somebody from the back and now the people suing saying that they needed back surgery and are suing for pain and suffering and loss of fun or something like that (no lie they are suing for loss of fun) they are suing for like 250,000

now she said that her insurance agent told her that even if l got my own insurance under my name and the car in my name that as long as l live under her house she can be sued and be held acountable.. is this true
