l live in Massachusetts, and l got a letter from the DMV saying that my license is going to be suspended for not paying a speeding ticket. After ranting about how l have not been pulled over in years, my little sister says she was given a citation in that town around that time. She swiped my license years ago to use as a fake id (without my knowledge at the time), and when she was pulled over, she gave the officer my license (''by accident''). She was pulled over in her car, registered in her name, but was not questioned about having a license in another name. Needless to say, l have stolen my own license back from the little rat. l now will have 2 points on my driving record (when it has been zero for years, thank you), and a suspension if l do not pay this $170 ticket in three weeks. Is there any way to transfer this to her name without getting her in serious trouble for using someone else is license?

Step one is to contact them & ask for further information, perhaps even a copy of the ticket so u can see what the vehicle stopped was. Then u can argue it was not ur car, not a car u ever drove, & not ur signature on the ticket if u like.

But to be honest, probably the best thing to do is pay the $170 before ur license is suspended & get it back from ur sister, & then try to get it off ur record.

Will ur sister get in serious trouble? Probably, but u can not have it both ways. Either u enable it, or not.
