Yes but as for your settlement it depends on your individual case. l will warn you these things can sometimes take years too before compo is paid out

Yes and there are many advertising on the television

how much? depends on the extent of your injuries, you will probably have to attend doctors who will assess your injuries, thats both your doctor and the third parties doctor.Be prepared for a long drawn out thing, this could take years.

good luck

You have some protection with your own insurance company. Have you ever contacted them like you should have? You may want to go to them and ask this question.
Aside from that, you may want to hire a lawyer and sue them. The lawyer will take about a third of your settlement + expenses

No one will be able to tell u what ur settlement would be.
Settlements on injury claims r based on the type & extent of injury as well as the treatment received.

Are u currently treating?

Have u filed a claim with the at fault drivers insurance company?
If u have, they wo not even consider a settlement until u r done with treatment. At that point they will review all of the medical records & bills related to the claim. They will evaluate ur case at that time & present an offer to you.

Majority of injury claims can be settled on ur own, so long as u keep open communication with the adjuster. If the offer is not what u expected, do not run to an attorney. Think about what it is u want to settle for & relay that to the insurance company. They will negotiate the file with you.

Attorney representation doesnt guarantee u more money, it just means u have to give away 1/3rd of what u settle for.

In addition to what the last person said, hiring an attorney will only serve to prolong the settlement process. l have not come across a single plaintiff is attorney who works quickly.
